Below is a summary of enhancements included in the most recent CAS SciFindern release. Reaction detail page display updates The newly updated user interface on the Reaction Detail page creates better data organization and introduces the concept of reaction transformations, which describes the specific change occurring as a result of the reaction. Changes to the page include: - Centering the reaction scheme at the top of the page
- Shifting reaction overview and source document information to the left-hand side of the page
- Placing Transformations and Reaction Notes below the Reaction Steps and Experimental Protocols
Additional enhancements: - Sequence Search query normalization – Users can perform sequence searches using a variety of input formats, notably, EMBL, GCG, and GenBank.
- Reaction Search by CAS Reaction Number – Providing another simplified search option, reactions can now be searched using the CAS Reaction Number. Results will be displayed for matching single-step reactions, or multi-step reactions containing the single step identified by the Reaction Number.
- Identification of unmapped reaction results – When performing reaction mapping, a No Mapping Data Available filter is now in place to help distinguish between mapped and unmapped reaction results being reviewed.
