Getting Started with The Chicago Manual of Style for PerfectIt Proofreading Software
If you use The Chicago Manual of Style for your work, the collaboration between the Manual and PerfectIt is a dream come true. But how does it work? What does it check? And most importantly, how can you use it to save time in your writing and editing?

This webinar covers how to get started with The Chicago Manual of Style for PerfectIt proofreading software. We'll cover requirements, linking your accounts, and all the details to get you up and running. Then you'll see the software in action and get your questions answered from the team that created it. The CMOS style check in PerfectIt is a free tool available to users who subscribe to both products. If you have them already, this session will be the perfect introduction. If you have CMOS Online but haven't tried PerfectIt, you'll definitely want to check this out.

This 30-minute webinar will be hosted by Daniel Heuman and Russell Harper. It will be followed by a 15-minute live Q&A with Daniel and Russell so you can ask everything you've wanted to know!
For those of you planning to attend ACES Accelerate on Sept. 21 and 22, our session there, Working Smarter with the Chicago Manual of Style for PerfectIt, will build upon what you learn here with a deeper dive into the subject matter.

Daniel Heuman is the creator of PerfectIt and the CEO and founder of Intelligent Editing. His software is used by thousands of editors around the world.
